Has the NYC Opera Fanatic mentioned lately that Reri Grist is a goddess with a capital "G"?

Example: Grist is called back for THREE solo bows after her bravura performance of Zerbinetta's showstopper (and here, it literally IS a show-show-stopper) "Grossmachitge Princessin"! THREE! From those Salzburg cynics! At the Met, today, the ovation-happy audience would have demanded at least 30 bows, don't ya think?

The two DVD releases of Ariadne and Nozze di Figaro (with Grist as Susanna), both from Salzburg, alone assure Reri Grist a place amaong the immortals!

Both DVD sets are treasures. The NYCOF highly recommends them. The Figaro is exceptionally strong across the board while the rest of the Ariadne cast is fine without being inspired to the great heights achieved by Reri.

Hmmmm, how do I REALLY feel? I have such problems expressing emotion. Note to my therapist: Why do I have intimacy problems with people but not DVDs?
